1947 American Legion Junior Baseball Handbook, featuring Zimmer's 1946 American Legion team from Robert E. Bentley Post #50 Cincinnati. The team finished as 4th runner-up at the national tournament. 1948 American Legion Junior Baseball Handbook, featuring Zimmer's 1947 American Legion team from Robert E. Bentley Post #50 Cincinnati. The team followed up its 1946 success by winning the 1947 national tournament. The team again featured Don (front row, fourth from left), brother Bill (fifth from left), and best friend Jim Frey (third from left). Babe Ruth was the featured guest at the tournament and presented Don and his teammates with autographed baseballs.
1948 Western Hills High School (Cincinnati, OH) featuring Don Zimmer in his Junior year. Don was a 3-sport letterman in high school, excelling at baseball, football and basketball. The Western Hills baseball team featured Don, brother Bill, and Jim Frey. Eleven members of the 1948 American Legion National Championship team (see above post) were members of the high school team. Don was the school's starting varsity quarterback and a guard on the basketball team. Zim autographed this yearbook at the 2011 National Sports Collectors Convention held in Rosemont, Illinois.
This 1951 PONY (Pennsylvania, Ontario, New York) League Baseball Guide features Zimmer during his minor league stop with Hornell. Zim set league records for runs scored (146) and stolen bases (63) while batting .315, and was named the league's MVP for the 1950 season. The guide includes both a team photo of the Hornell Dodgers and a nice close-up photo of Don.
1951 official Eastern League game-used "last out" ball from Game 7 of the Eastern League first round playoff series piting Zimmer's Elmira Pioneers against the Wilkes-Barre Indians. Elmira won the series 4 games to 3. Don Zimmer kept this ball, which recorded the scores of all seven games along with the date and series outcome, in his private collection for more than 60 years.

of the St. Paul Saints, Zim's last stop in
Ticket stub from Zimmer's first major league home run at Connie Mack Stadium in Philadelphia. Zim bashed a Curt Simmons pitch for the game-winning hit and RBI, as Brooklyn defeated the Phillies with a final score of 7-6. Roy Campanella and Carl Furillo also homered in the game.

1962 "Tops in Sports" vinyl record produced by the United States Air Force. This album was never commercially available. It was produced by the U.S. Air Force Recruiting Service as a Public Service Program and broadcast on select radio stations. Sports figures were interviewed by former New York Giants (NFL) running back and wide receiver Kyle Rote. Issued in very small quantities.

A program from the Andre Dawson & Friends Celebrity Softball Event held July 28, 2010. Zimmer was a coach of Dawson's team at the event, which was staged at Alexian Field in Schaumburg, IL to honor Dawson's recent HOF induction.
